What a start!

As we close the first week of session, we are prouder than ever of South Carolina Manufacturers and Commerce – our members, our investors, our team – and we are more optimistic than ever about what’s ahead. Here’s why.

When we announced the formation of SCMC, we were clear: we would speak with one voice for the business community, we would work hard, and we would win big. And that’s precisely what we are positioning SCMC to do.

To that end, we rolled out our Growth Agenda, which you can read about in the Post and Courier, and we brought together business champions from across the state with the Governor and lawmakers at Business Speaks.

Hundreds of people excited and ready to fight for policy wins that help businesses and families turned out to Business Speaks, our legislative kickoff event, and the program was phenomenal. Thanks to so many of our members, we could feel the momentum continuing to build. And this is only the beginning.
