Business Week Application - South Carolina Manufacturers and Commerce

Please have the below information prepared for your application:

Student Information:
You will need to provide full name, date of birth, phone number, email address, home address, t-shirt size, and grade completed (must have completed sophomore, junior or senior year by June 2026 to be eligible).
Parent/Guardian Information:
You will need to provide parent/guardian name(s), phone numbers (cell and work), email address, and emergency contact information.
School Information:
You will need to provide school name, phone number, address, county and school district name, and principal or counselor name and email address.
Essay:
You will need to upload an essay in order to successfully submit your application. Essays from previous years are not accepted. The essay needs to be a 250–500 word explanation of what you hope to gain by attending Business Week, and how you think this experience will provide a steppingstone for your future in the working world.Below are three questions you can also answer in your essay if you choose:
1. What extracurricular activities have you participated in this school year? (e.g. clubs, school activities, sports, student government, etc.)
2. What leadership positions do you hold in these activities?
3. How have you been involved in your community this school year?
Payment:
You will need to pay the $75.00 application fee by credit card to complete and submit your application.

Once you submit your application, you will see the below message that will prompt you to this next step:

Print the recommendation letter, fill out the top portion, and give it to your school counselor or principal to complete. Your Business Week application is not complete until we have received this form from your school. You may wish to continue checking back to confirm that your school has sent the form.
