COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina Manufacturers and Commerce (SCMC) today announced the four products advancing to the final round of the 5th Annual Manufacturing Madness contest, where voters determine the Coolest Thing Made in South Carolina.
The four finalists competing for the 2026 title are:
- Constant Velocity Joint – JTEKT, Greenville
- 787 Dreamliner – The Boeing Company, Charleston
- PFX Flex Sub-Lite-Wall – Zeus, Orangeburg
- CardioEducator – NursEdvance Innovations, Richland
Voting for the Top 4 round takes place March 16–19 at scmanufacturingmadness.com. The winner will be announced on March 24 during a ceremony at the South Carolina Statehouse with Gov. Henry McMaster.
“Reaching the Top 4 is a significant achievement in a competition that started with over 120 nominated products,” said SCMC President and CEO Sara Hazzard. “These finalists showcase some of the very best that South Carolina manufacturing has to offer, and we look forward to seeing which product earns the title of the Coolest Thing Made in SC.”
Launched in 2022, Manufacturing Madness, sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, highlights South Carolina-made products and allows the public to select the annual winner.
Since its inception, the contest has generated nearly 850,000 votes from more than 120 countries.
Manufacturing contributes more than $300 billion annually to South Carolina’s economy, supports approximately 30% of all jobs statewide, and generates one-third of the state’s general fund revenue.
