Honoring Service and Strength This Veterans Day

This Veterans Day, the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance proudly highlights Bosch Charleston and its Veterans@Bosch Business Resource Group — a team of associates who exemplify the values of service, teamwork, and community that define South Carolina manufacturing.

At Bosch Charleston, Veterans@Bosch is more than a company program — it’s a community. Made up of associates who have served or supported those who have, the group fosters a culture where veterans are valued, supported, and empowered to keep making a difference long after their military service ends.

Supporting Those Who Served

The mission of Veterans@Bosch Charleston is simple but powerful: to provide veterans, their families, and friends with the support and opportunities they need to thrive. The group helps ease the transition from military to civilian life by offering mentorship, professional development, and access to local and national resources.

Their work reflects Bosch’s companywide commitment to veterans — creating workplaces where those who have served our country can continue building purposeful careers in manufacturing. Locally, the group’s members take pride in strengthening their community through volunteerism, education, and service.

Service in Action

The Veterans@Bosch Charleston team stays active all year, organizing events and initiatives that support both veterans and the broader community. Highlights of their 2025 activities include:

  • Oyster Reef Build & Harbor Cleanup: Partnering with Wounded Nature – Working Veterans and the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources to restore oyster reefs and remove 3,500 pounds of debris from local waterways.
  • Operation Gratitude: Joining a nationwide effort to assemble 5,000 care packages for service members, veterans, and first responders.
  • Massage & Wellness Events: Offering on-site wellness sessions to promote physical and mental well-being among veterans and associates.
  • Combat Veterans Golf Tournament: Sponsoring and participating in a community event that honors veterans through camaraderie and friendly competition.
  • Angel Tree & Wreaths Across America: Spreading holiday cheer to local families and helping lay more than 2,000 wreaths to honor fallen heroes.

A Legacy of Leadership and Service

Veterans Day is a time to honor those who have served — to recognize their sacrifice, their courage, and the values they carry with them every day. The Veterans@Bosch Charleston team demonstrates that commitment daily, strengthening their company, their community, and South Carolina’s manufacturing industry.

Their example reflects what makes this state’s manufacturing community so strong: people who use their skills and experiences to create opportunity for others. As Bosch Charleston and manufacturers across South Carolina honor Veterans Day, we celebrate all who continue to serve — in their workplaces, their neighborhoods, and in the enduring tradition of American manufacturing.
