Thank you to everyone who made the inaugural SC Energy Summit a tremendous success this week!
We were thrilled to see such a strong turnout for a day full of important conversations on what’s next for South Carolina’s energy future. We were also proud to launch SCMC’s new Energy Council, which will keep those conversations moving by bringing policymakers, business leaders, and energy experts together to advance policies that ensure we have the reliable, affordable power needed to support continued economic prosperity.
And don’t forget, today is the final day to vote early in the special Republican primary for U.S. Senate. If you can’t vote today, you can still cast your ballot on Election Day, Tuesday, August 11. To be eligible, you must have voted in the June Republican primary or not voted in either party’s June primary. It’s important for our membership to stay engaged in elections, and I encourage every eligible voter to make a plan to participate.
Thank you for your continued support. There’s plenty more ahead!
